How CareWise builds its Arizona cost ranges
Reviewed by Genevieve Barclay-White · Updated
What a quote is
A quote is a monthly price an Arizona assisted living home or center gives CareWise for a specific room type, during our own pricing conversations with that provider. Every figure on the cost page comes from those conversations, not from websites, brochures, or other surveys.
How many quotes, and which ones count
CareWise has gathered 36,003 quotes since 2021.
The published ranges use only quotes from the most recent 60 days. That window rolls forward as new quotes come in, so older prices drop out.
When a city isn't shown
A city appears on its own only when it has at least 25 recent quotes for a room type. Below that, the city's quotes still count, but they're folded into its metro figure and the statewide figure. That's why the city counts don't add up to the metro or statewide totals.
Unusual prices
A small number of quote rows contain values that don't look like real monthly prices. Those rows are excluded from the tables and counted only in the metro and statewide figures. We revisit this rule as the data grows.
What these numbers aren't
They aren't advertised rates, and they aren't an offer or a guarantee that a room is open. Each home or center does its own assessment, and that assessment decides admission and the final price.
Why we publish them
No other Arizona placement agency we know of publishes its own quote data. We share ours so families can start with realistic numbers. Pricing is one part of how CareWise recommendations are made.
